Positive Feedback Loop

Oil Painting - thesis project from 2011; I was obsessed with theoretical physics and Portal, and worked on these while getting hyped for Portal 2. My digital chops were almost non-existent at the time, but I did use Poser and Maya to mock up these figures, lights and perspective. There once was an image number 1; which was showed the figure first tripping over the wire and falling into the portal loop, at the time I was learning and very much experimenting with indirect oil painting methods and materials and that canvas turned out... not so great.
